The guy who Cage threw into the empty cement pool...


Either that's the best stunt work I've seen or that guy dislocated his shoulder.

I thought the same thing and I went back to watch it again just now. The walls of the pool are rounded so that lessened the blow but he still made direct contact with concrete. There was a huge impact. He's wearing a jacket so hopefully he had some kind of padding underneath. Otherwise that guy definitely was injured.

Maybe the stunt failed on the first take but since it looks better than what was planned, they went with that instead of a retake?

It actually took me out of the movie because all I could think about was if the guy actually got hurt or not, it was a big fall.
