Edited?
When I watch this film I have the feeling that it was heavily edited.
There are a plenty of characters that aren't well developed but they have some importance to the story, like James Caviezel's and Tom Winkinson's characters.
If it really happend, my opinion is it was for box office reasons, not letting the movie get too lenghty.
Does anyone have a clue about that? Did Ang Lee shoot a lot of film that didn't make it? And why?
