What are some more movies dealing with the losing side of the war?

I've seen a lot of war films (and movies with a story around the war, like this one), and not too many are shown from the losing point of view (or if the film centers around a battle, the losing side of the battle). What are some others? I've got:

The Downfall
Pan's Labyrinth (the captain isnt the main character, but you see more of him than the rebels)
Gallipoli (losing side of the battle)
Assembly (losing side of the battle)
....and heres a stretch: the TV show Firefly (space wars DO count, ahah).

There are a decent selection of movies showing WWII from the German/Nazi perspective, for instance:

Inside the Third Reich
The Desert Fox
The Night of the Generals
Cross of Iron
Valkyrie
Stalingrad
The Bridge
Das Boot

To name just a few. Also Fire on the Plain and Letters From Iwo Jima for a Japanese perspective.

WWI has The Red Baron, The Blue Max and the various versions of All Quiet on the Western Front, among others.

Regarding the Civil War, I'd say there have been more films focusing on the South over the North, cf.:

Gone With the Wind
The General
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Cold Mountain
Gods and Generals
Raintree County

You could argue that most Vietnam films would also fall under this category.

Some more:
Letters from Iwo Jima
The Bridge (Die Brücke)
Dances with Wolves
Iluminados por el fuego (Blessed by Fire)
Kingdom of Heaven (The Crusaders were defeated both in the movie and IRL)
Grave of the Fireflies

Gallipoli (Peter Weir - 1981)
A Bridge Too Far (Richard Attenborough – 1977)
Both are about winning sides, but disastrous lost battles.

Braveheart (Mel Gibson – 1995)
Lost – won – but lost again when Scotland lost its independence in 1707.

Battle of the Bulge
A not very accurate film account of the last major battle in the West which the Germans lost.

I guess you can say that every movie about the Vietnam War shows the losing side, even though we beat the Vietcong and the North Vietnamese in every single battle and it was the politicians and the hippie protestors that lost the war. We Were Soldiers is my favorite Vietnam film.

OTHER MOVIES ABOUT THE LOSING SIDE

Cold Mountain (another Civil War film from the Confederate perspective)
300
Braveheart
Black Hawk Down
Dances With Wolves (the Indians get their land taken away though Kevin Costner gets away with his life)
