The ending was bad.


Hub could have shot the cell before he took Elise hostage but calls out to them instead giving the cell the opportunity to take action. Totally illogical on what was supposed to be a serious and plausible thriller.

All she had to do was drop. Hub would have shot Samir. End of that.

She was suicidal at that point. After Samir spilled the beans about his plan she realized everything that had happened was her fault - more than she previously realized.

I think you're right. She's screwed up royally and knows it.

I didn't interpret what she did at the end as suicidal. I think she was just willing to die if it meant saving all those people. When she was shouting for them to shoot her or Samir, she was terrified that if they didn't, he would kill all the demonstrators.
