Trinity running to the phone booth makes no sense
Think about it; she DID make it - marginally. Just barely. Could not have been a closer.. if you don't mind the pun.. call.
Rewind a little bit and think of yourself in Trinity's place. You see the phone booth - great! Then you see the garbage truck do the illogical 'hit the breaks instead of swerve towards the phone booth'-maneuver.
Would you make the conclusion that:
01) You are definitely gonna make it, no matter how close a call
02) You are definitely NOT gonna make it, better find some alternative
03) You are PROBABLY not gonna make it with all these agents riding around, better find something else
04) You could POSSIBLY make it, but it's not worth the risk with so many agents and it would be a ridiculously close call anyway
I mean, WHY would she make the stupidest decision in that situation - to RUN TOWARDS THE PHONE BOOTH thinking she will most likely make it...? IN THAT SITUATION? REALLY?
Would you take _THAT_ risk (she probably had like 0.01 seconds margin, if THAT)...
..or just say 'fjyck it, let's find some other phone booth'?
It makes NO sense that she'd make THAT choice and risk her life and everything when the agents are already so close to destroying the phone booth... does it?
No, it doesn't It makes no sense.
