Timing issues. (Spoiler alert)
Did anybody else find the incident at Nationals to be a little unrealistic? Homer discovers that his de Laval nozzle has been stolen. We see him on the phone telling one of his buddies that the judging is TOMORROW.
Then in the space of maybe a day and a half, Elsie convinces John to end the strike.. John and the union come to agreement... the workers are reassembled... the worker makes a new de Laval nozzle... and they send it from WV to Indianapolis. Am I missing something? Are we to believe they accomplished all that in such little time? I know it's just a movie, and in my opinion a good one at that. It's just that this part has always bugged me.
Anybody else feel this way?
