the kilrathi, the lion alien race. i guess it was more about the human and their inner conflicts. they looked pretty cool. not a bad movie but it would have been way better. the fx were good, it was well cast.
shareVery true. In the earlier Wing Commander PC games, the Kilrathi were very clearly visible, and did not live in mist or dark lit areas, they were always quite easy to see. They had fantastic conflicts within as well, especially between Prince Thrakhath and any number of other Kilrathi. In Wing Commander III, IV, and V Prophecy they gave most of them darker places for their cinematics.
I think all the Wing Commander cutscenes are out on Youtube, makes for a really long movie but tons of fun.
cool. i'm not as familiar with the games as i am with the animated series. i will check the scenes out.
shareI think they kept the Kilrathi off-camera because their makeup and costume design were a bit of a letdown.
