In 99' I walked out of the theater because even at 16 years old, I knew this was a POS. I have never seen the movie in its entirety, I just wanted every fan on this board to know that I did this, thanks.

Heh, i walked out too. It was the first movie i ever payed for i walked out on. Movies to me where a form of escape and i valued them greatly but this movie change my entire perception and made me a cynic. My expectations are now very low now when i begin viewing something new.

I remember watching the film from start to finish when I watched it in the theater on a Sunday afternoon, there was only 3 other people in the theater but one of them did walk out during the middle of the film. I saw the tailer for episode 1 but it didn't do anything for me as I'm not a huge star wars fan, however, I enjoyed the movie for what it was.
Although I had no knowledge of the video games (I've heard of them but never played them).
I just watched the movie for the first time in HD on my 50" LED, looks pretty good for a film that cost $27 million that debuted in 1999. I have a soft spot for this film.
I have never walked out on a movie, no matter how bad it started out. One could argue I wasted hours here or there in my life in that respect, but if that be the case I will defer to the fact that if I'm going to "Pay" for something then I'm going to see it through.
That said I never paid to see this movie, have seen it a couple times and loved it . Guess I'm the oddball here...
