why did the fighter craft look nothing like the movie??

the sleak fighter crafts from the game why weren't they in movie? The crafts in movie looked like something out of the kiddie disney series Tail Spin!

I'm a Conservative, and thats my opinion on this matter.

Apparently they were going for a "World War II in outer space" look. Personally, I liked the look of the fighters.

Looks like you forgot to take your anti-retard pills again.

Makes me wonder why they just didn't go for a "Wing Commander: The Game" look, seeing as the same guy that directed it is the same guy that made the *beep* games...

reply

you liked the fighter? Are you high? Those were horrid. I hated them.

reply

Not only did the fighters look absolutely ridiculous, but they butchered two English Electric Lightning fuselages making them. They only used the canopy and it's mechanisms, ejection seat and the control stick, pretty much everything else was remodeled.

reply

Thank the movie gods that they don't look like the ships from the game. Thay would have looked ridiculous.

reply

I wouldn't have minded some redesigning of the ships from the game. They could have at least used some of the same lines in the design. The actual Wing Commander Rapiers and Broadswords look a hell of a lot better than the ones we got in the film.
