Should I buy this series?

Hey guys,
I've only seen a few episodes of this show and I really enjoyed it. I saw the complete DVD series on ebay and I've been saving up for it. However, I am now having second thoughts because some people have said that seasons 4 through 10 are really crappy.

I love nostalgic/retro 80's cheese (even if I didn't grow up in that period.) The box set looks awesome, it comes in an actual van. I have read the mirage comic books (all of them) and I loved them.

The set is about 100 bucks, which is a heck of a lot money.
Basically, my question is this: should I spend A TON of money on this kick-ass looking set, or just buy a DVD of season 1 for 5 bucks? I just don't know guys.

Season 4 has more bad episodes than the rest, but I think the good episodes far outweigh the bad. I say go for it if you can spare the cash, or shop around and see if you can get it for less. I got my set for $65 bucks a FYE about two years back, so I imagine you might be able to find a better deal online if you search for it.
