I've never really been a fan of 2003's misshapen, eyeless Turtles, nor 2012's CGI monstrosity.
The 1994 redesign took the original classic design and sharpened up the graphics just right. Would've been interesting if they had used something more like this for the 2003 cartoon.
I agree, the 94 red sky designs are my favorites of all the animated Turtles. It's the perfect balance of still being cartoony and more serious.
I've never really liked the 03 designs, too simple looking.
I like the Nick designs thou, my fav being Ralph.

I agree that the animation in seasons 8 - 10 were good, but I think by eliminating Shredder and Krang and replacing them with Dregg and putting in Carter was a major mistake. They had something that could of been good and they blew it.
I liked the 2003 series, but I agree that the animation looked too simple.
