They should re-air this show on tv again
Like they did with the original Transformers, GI Joe, and He-Man. Either Nick could do it or Discovery Family.

shareYes, they should.
shareWith all 193 episodes on DVD, it doesn't matter if they ever air on TV again. At least not to me. With that, you don't have to worry about airtime and annoying commercials.
shareIt's just very shocking to me that the original series hasn't been airing in syndication for an insanely long time. While I understand we have the dvds, it just doesn't make sense why such a long running and popular series has managed not to be picked up by any stations.
shareYou've got several other reboot series that came after it (some being better imagined and/or structured), a hundred-thousand different tv channels to choose from, Saturday morning cartoons that are now just a shadow of the guaranteed advertising powerhouse they once were and infomercials that pay straight rather than relying on commercial-break advertising for the station/network. Add to that all the cartoons and animated shows of the past ten to fifteen years that this generation is familiar with and it's hard to justify bringing that show out of retirement when it can be watched on DVD or free online somewhere.
It's a show for a different generation. As much as I may agree with you I also understand why it hasn't happened.
Michael Bay didn't ruin my childhood. My childhood happened more than twenty-five years ago.
