Turtles voices and masks

I noticed the turtles voices keep changing and their mask colors change every now and then. They don't belong to the correct turtle, why is that? I always wondered why this happens. It happens in several episodes. I guess the animation dept. didn't catch it?

Quality control was an issue for the show. The animation style was never consistent either.

Because Season 3 (which was 47 episodes) had to be produced veryveryveryveryvery quickly. Other seasons had animation mistakes, but S3 by far had more animation errors than all the other seasons combined.

Season 7 has terrible quality & many voice changes WTF! They look & sound like a pilot not season 7 of a show

Isn't Season 7 known for having improved animation over previous seasons?

I swear those mistakes where the wrong voice or color came out of the wrong character was done on purpose, because it didn't happen once in a while. It was an error that happened at least once per episode. A bit too often to be an accident. Those errors had to be deliberate.

It was accidental. The animation was very hurried and hit and miss.

one of the biggest mistakes was in 'turtles of the jungle' when that ape picks up michaelangelo to reveal another michaelangelo.

The biggest animation mistake was in Wererats of Channel Six.
