I installed the game about two days ago. I just finished the game after about 2 days on and off playing it. I remember seeing previews of this game in one of my Sierra games. Most likely one of the later King's Quest sequels. I thought the music that went with the preview was addicting. After 10 years I finally got myself a used copy and it was well worth it. Sure it runs at 640x480 maybe smaller resolution than that since I see a lot of Black borders. It's not exactly up to par and sharp as today's games. It reminds me of the Mortal Kombat digitization style of their characters. Quite similar to Access Software's old school games like Martian Memorandum and Under a Killing Moon type of graphics. The only thing that disappointed me was it wouldn't play the MIDI music through my Roland MT-32 using Creative MPU-401 for some reason so I had to set it back to AWE64 MIDI Synth. I ran it under Windows 2000. There were a few locations when the game would crash out. One involves the trowel in the Greenhouse. Just don't pick it up. It's not necessary to watch the video in order to complete the game. The other is in the third floor Conservatory when you examine the revolving light and the light on the wall that reveals a secret panel. Just skip it by clicking on the double arrow icon. Otherwise the game will crash and kick you out. I'm not sure if there is a fix for this or if this occurs in Windows 95 or 98 or in XP. Anyhow, the acting wasn't first rate but I felt Victoria Morsell did a very decent job for someone that didn't have a huge background to begin with. Not to mention she was very easy on the eyes and it would have been nice to have seen her in Phantasmagoria 2. Which I will not be getting most likely. :)

The game crashed in those places for me too and I ran it under XP.

I have no problems with it, and I have XP...
