Does anyone know if this game is like Clocktower? I played Clocktower 2 on PS and it freaked me out so bad I couldn't finish it. I'm currently in an retro game revival as all the new games currently suck. I'm playing Alice right now :)
We all enjoy the maddness 'cuz we know we're gonna fade away
I love Alice so much, just the graphics and artwork are amazing. I'm not a big gamer, like my idea of a good game is Age of Empires (because it's not complicated), but I first played phantasmagoria in '97, and it scared the *beep* outta me! (the again I was 9). When I finally beat it, my whole family came in and watched, and laughed at me for liking this game (because the ending is terrible). This game is good if you can just get lost in a story, but not take it too seriously. Plot holes are abundent and you step in bad acting like dog *beep* (the husband scared me purely because anyone who can laugh like that deserves to be shot) but it's a fun game overall. The cool thing about this game is the mouse is interactive, so you can see what's to look at, kind of like in the Nancy Drew games. There is also a "Hint Keeper", a skull in the lower left hand corner who you can click on if you need a hint, again like Beth in Nancy Drew, but more precise. There are also millions of walk throughs, and keep one of those handy near the end because that ending is impossible! And look for some easter eggs online, they make you smile. Apparently if you click on the toilet just the right way Addriane will make funny noises in the bathroom. If you click the baby's picture in the Nursery 3 times, a maniacal laughter will sound and the baby's eyes will flicker, but Addriane won't show any response. The creater is seen in town, and the pictures on the desk of the realator are those of babies of the crew. It's some good times, playing this game, the 13 bucks amazon.com is asking for it
