hey has anyone seen the finalie

It's still running in Japan. The final episode won't come for a while.

I checked out the Internet and came up with this:

Detective Conan started up in 1994 and is still going strong in Japan today. (The manga [Japanese comic book] on which it is based actually started over 20 years ago!) There are a LOT of plot lines to resolve, some of which have not even started on "Case Closed" yet. The two biggies are "Does Conan ever finally bring down the "Men in Black" who poisoned him?" and of course, "Does Conan ever grow back up into Jimmy Kudo, or is he stuck at six years of age?"

Some fans think they see signs that the creator, Gosho Aoyama, is bringing the series to a close in the next year or so. And what is the final word on what finally happens to Conan?

"The only one who knows for sure is Gosho Aoyama... and he's not talking!"

Last year in Taiwan, "Conan" fans were talking about an ending that was rumoring around the Internet. In case you American fans didn't know about it, I'll give you the summary:
Conan is getting close into finding the cure and bringing the "Men In Black" to justice, and Ran (Rachael Moore) has known that Conan is Shinichi (Jimmy Kudo) when his rival/best sidekick, West Japanese Teen Detective Heiji Hattori (He first shows up in Manga Book 10), uncovers a big secret: Dr. Agasa, the hilarious inventor who was always with Conan and a great help to the team, was in fact the leader of the "Black Organization"!!
Meanwhile, Conan and AI Haibara(The inventor of the medicine that causes Shinichi to become Conan, she betrays the "Black Organization" after her older sister was murdered by the same men that poisoned Shinichi. First showed up in Book 18) are confronted by Gin in a building, Gin offers to let AI disappear from Japan or shoot her when Conan grabs her to escape. Gin then sets an explosion in the building and shoots AI. AI, severely wounded, confesses her love to Conan before another explosion separates them away.
Conan found out that even with the antidote, he could not turn back to normal, for it must be taken within two years after taking the shrinking medicine. He doesn't want Ran to be heartbroken by this, so he moves with his parents to Switzerland and lies to Ran that he is dead. Ran eventually gave up on Shinichi and started dating with another man.
Conan is out of the stage now, so the rest of the work to bring down the "Black Organization" will be depended on Kaitou KID, a master thief and one of Conan's archenemies.
There are many alter changes on many of the characters:
Inspector Megure was in fact a top member of the "Black Organization", Kogoro Mouri(Richard Moore) knew this secret but never tried to reveal it.
Yoko Okino, the young pop star whom Kogoro madly admired, was also a "Black agent"; she was eventually defeated by Shinichi's parents.
Sonoko Suzuki(Serena Sebastian) was on her first date with her new boyfriend Makoto Kyougoku¡]first appeared in Book 22¡^when they discover that her father was doing illegal trade with the ¡§Men in Black¡¨. She was very upset, but with her boyfriend¡¦s help, they stopped the trade and prevented her father from making a big mistake.

I immediately went to a ¡§Detective Conan¡¨ message room to check, sure enough, many fans were responding about it. They couldn¡¦t believe that the ending was that, either. Some fans brought out the example of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes: He once ended the Sherlock Holmes series by telling that Holmes was killed, but his readers were so indignant about it that Doyle was soon forced to bring Holmes back to life. They believe that the ending would never be that way because the author should understand how the fans would react if the ending was really like that.
Six months ago I got an e-mail with a fan- manga¡]drawn by a fan from ¡¥The People¡¦s Republic of China¡¦¡^that showed another ending of ¡§Conan¡¨: The Big Case is closed; the ¡§Men in Black¡¨ are finally brought to justice. One day, not long after that, Conan and AI were at the docks talking about it; AI hands over the antidote to Conan, telling him that it¡¦s time he returned to Ran. She confesses her love to Conan by kissing him, and then sadly turns to leave; Conan was lost in a memory of flashbacks about him and AI, when he recovered, he grabbed AI and while wiping off her tears, he says,¡¨ After all this time trying to protect the one whom I thought I loved, I realize that the one I was protecting-was YOU.¡¨
I really should thank this fan about this other ending; it at least relieved our fears about the rumoring ending.
That was last year¡¦s stuff. Right now, fans are focusing on the eighth movie of Conan, in which Kaitou KID will have a major role in it(he had made an important appearance in the third movie "The Last Wizard of the Century"). It premieres in movie theaters in Japan and Taiwan this summer.
