Which movie is the best?

I have only seen two or three of them, so I don't have many choices. If I knew that youtube was going to have them all removed, I would have watched them all when I could.

Out of the ones I have seen I would have to choose the eight movie, The Magician of the Silver Sky (such a pretty sounding title!).

"He ain't all that bright"?

That guy is the smartest bad guy in the series after Gin and Black Org.

That thing in 3rd movie with blowing out the cities lights was slick.

But, while we are on the note of KID, doesn't he seem a little crazy?

I mean, one moment he's blasting away happily at Conan with cards that could most easily kill him, and another moment he tries to save Conan (who has fallen of a building) with his hang-glider. Which is rather impossible when you consider the physics of a hang-glider, but still.

i wonder what will happen to Gin at the end.

Hopefully, something fatal.

But that wouldn't be this series style, would it?

This manga is the nexus of melodramatic moral high ground. At one point, Conan specifically tells Heiji that a "detective that corners a suspect with logic and lets them commit suicide is no better than a murderer". At another point, Heiji charges a revealed murderer who has pointed a gun at his own head.

They are saved from death so they can go through a humiliting trial to end up in the electric chair. Or to get imprisoned for life in a federal "pound-me-in-the-*ss" prison. And all that because (usually) some sh-tbag motherf-cker killed or ruined their parents and they had the bad luck to take revenge at the exact moment that Conan was within screaming distance.

I think only one person actually killed themselves to escape prosecution in the series. That Moonlight Sonata episode. What is more hardcore than playing the piano as your house burns down?

KID is so funny, especially when everything doesn't go right, then He has this "YIKES!!" kinda a face, and it cracks me up all the time. while he is dense about SOME things, he is really very very smart. just think of all the crimes he's done successfully, and while juggling school! Kudos to him!!

However, KID is my second fave guy, I really love Heiji. ahh, he is so funny tooo. smart at solving crimes, but soo dense at Kazuha's love for him!

The series could end with Gin dying, but it'd have to be set up in a way that Shiniichi/Conan could have help with (kinda like Moonlight sonata), but not with him there watching gin kill himself, defeinately not the series's style.
