when's the series gonna end

it's gotta end sometime. when it ends conan will turn back to a high-schooler right?

Umm, it has been going on for longer than Simpsons I believe and still shows no signs of stopping in Japan...

Its longer than the simpsons but it isn't older...
Its 400 + episodes and japan like 9 movies and is still going...

more than 400 episodes? didn't think that was possible for a show other than soap operas and game shows.

This started as a mange in 1993 and a tv show in 1996 right?

Actually, I read that the series started in 1988. Can't remember where, might have been one of those television show web sites.

noop. The Manga started in 1994 appearing in the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine.

And then the Anime show started in 1996 and has ever since been airing on Japanese airways, basically reaching over 400 episodes, showing no signs of stopping and it has nine movies. Amazhing neh? yah! Long live Conan!

1988 might make sense. In the episode where conan is kidnapped the calender he looks at says 1988 which didn't make sense if it showed in the early 90's.

I know there was one episode where he turned back into Jimmy Kudo when he drank that red stuff this other detective gave him. Has there ever been any other episode where he turned back.

How does it not make sense? Just because a show is made in the 1990s (which Conan was, this is pretty much a confirmed fact) doesn't mean it has to take place in the 1990s.

i dont no of he turns back in the show(because in canada were only in the first season of the show) but i know in the manga he turns back.

I don't think he would ever grow back either, but then if it's taking a long time, he will just grow up anyway. When conan grows up again and reaches full adulthood, his age difference with Ran (Rachel) wouldn't be that big of a deal anyway and they can still get married.

What's more important about the ending is the Black Org. Will Conan/Shinichi ever able to defeat them and get revenge for what they've done to him?

That is correct. They can't truely end the anime before the manga. They can only find a stopping point like Hajime no Ippo. But then again, there isn't a suitable/satisfying stopping point since it's not a sports story.
