Do you think Funimation and the audience would go for this?

Lets just say that Funimation decided to relaunch the English Dub versions but wanted to ask us, the audience, to start donating to the series so they can come up with the cash that would be used to financially cover the costs of voice actors and stuff?

They would also use part of their profits to cover the funds needed to keep the English dubs going but also require us to help cover the costs by donating because I'm sure no business would ever think about losing a lot of profits if they can prevent it.

The reason why I am suggesting this is because I am thinking that this may they might be able to have a better chance at promoting this show in the American and Canadian regions. Besides, there's no denying that there are literally a lot of people that speaks English wants an English dub rather then having to force read English Subs while listening to Japanese. For ME personally, it's kind of annoying to do that while concentrating on the show itself. By that, I mean it's kind of hard for me to read what they are saying while paying attention to what they are doing.

It's more enjoyable for me to just watch everything while listening to them talk and can understand everything they say.

My favorite Movie of the series is next and it has yet to be dubbed. I have been waiting six movies long for this one!

Sorry for the late response, but yeah lol

Personally I really think they should start making this show into a online thing rather than trying to put it on TV. Clearly, one of the reasons why they stopped airing english dubs is because of the lack of fundings caused by the lack of viewers in the westernized region that preferred English (which is what Funimation is responsible for, I presumed).

So my idea is this, as I had stated in my first post, I think they should start asking for fundings on their site and whatnot from us (the viewers) for certain amounts of donations to get this show off the ground again and get the English Dubs back on track.

I mean, there's clearly a bit of demands for it and since it would be funded by fans/viewers, they really can't lose much money, if at all, for doing it this way. That and not to mention that for those of us that wants English Dubs for it, we'd be getting what we want for it.

A Kickstarter is not out of the question,Funimation did one recently for the Vision of Escaflowne which aired on Fox Kids but was heavily edited,The Ocean Group released the series uncut but there is some stuff was not ever dubbed in English thats were Funimation. Funimation got the funds within like a week with an extra 100 grand.

As for this show I would like to see it dubbed again and have the characters keep their names in tact and not change them like the dub did. The only thing is this show has over 800 eps I don't see Funimation making that kind of comment, the only dubbed 50 eps but had the rights too 100,maybe they should just dub those 100 and the movies.

I'm all in if the original cast can be brought back. This was my favorite anime that was on the Adult Swim lineup, and I loved seeing episodes show up under Funimation a few years ago.
