I just wanted to know if there were any other episode on after Maddie left town. Because on every site the episode end there and if so what happens to everyone.
shareThe episode you're referring to where Mattie was shot was titled the Hideout. There were five more episodes that followed and that was the end of the series. The 1st and 2nd seasons are now out on DVD. I purchased mine from Amazon.com.
Mattie survived only to leave for Miles City in the last episode. It's a shame they ended the series cause that last episode had things all set up for some good stuff to happen if they would have continued.
Oh is that where it all ended? I really wanted MAttie and Call to get married. I thought that's where everything was leading up. You need some closure to end a series! Was OLY at all based on the books? Was MAttie a character in the books?

The only connection that OLY had with Lonesome Dove was Newt Call. There was a character by the name of Mosby in the first book. He was someone that was briefly mentioned as being some nasty character in Lorena Woods past. Then there was the gal in Deadman's Walk by the name of Matty, who was sort of tomboyish, I guess. I happen to have all the books and am selling them on Amazon if anyone is interested.
Yeah, I've been wishing all these years that they would maybe come back and wrap the series up. But all the actors went on to do other shows. Austin is on One Tree Hill . Mattie is on the OC and Mosby finished up with Will & Grace last year. Don't know what Call is up to these days.
Call is doing construction work in Saskatchewan (?) Canadian prairies anyway, and he has started a singing career.
He got into some bad trouble in Washington and disappeared for awhile and popped up doing construction. He is a fine actor too, always thought he should play Stevie Ray Vaughn if they make a movie of that musician's life.
Well i`ve just seen the last episode.What a disapointment.I feel i`ve been cheated. What a stupid ending. Can only assume that they were planning another series which obviously did`nt happen. I want my money back.
shareI know I feel cheated! They should at least have done a series finale and gave the fans some closure! Or at least sum up what their intentions were with a little write up or something.
