The Royle Family: The Golden Eggcup (Xmas special)

Anthony (Ralf Little) is back in the family fold for a right royle celebration. The kids give Barbara (Sue Johnston) and Jim (Ricky Tomlinson) a generous cash present for their anniversary, but while Barbara wants to use it to go to the Bermuda triangle, Jim wants to invest it - in a brand-new HD TV digibox.

To be shown at 10pm Christmas Day and I cant wait.

Christmas on terrestial TV is quite frankly dreadful with few highlights but I'm really glad to see there will be another Royle Family special.

aw fantastic, you can't beat a Royle xmas special

i prefer it when they keep to the original format and just have the royles on their sofa but am sure it will be funny
