I have a feeling that I'm going to be waiting a long time, but I'm tired of watching my non-anamorphic original DVD pressing purchased many moons ago. This film would look fantastic in high definition. The scenery, the reds of the blood, not to mention that insane score in lossless audio. I would be in movie geek heaven.
C'mon, Fox, give this underrated gem the high-def treatment!!!

I bought both Region 1 pressings of the film, hoping that the newer one would actually be anamorphic and enhanced for 16x9 tv's, but NOOOOOO... So I would also love to see this on Blu-ray some time soon, yet no one I know of has seen or even heard of this great film. It's really too bad, it's one of my absolute favorites.

Apparently it's still not out on blu-ray yet. Weird because I downloaded Ravenous in HD from the piratebay and it looks phenominal! It's only just over 3 gig so you should search for it.
BTW I own this on DVD and plan on buying the blu-ray as soon as it's available so anyone that wants to grill me about piracy can kiss the fattest part of my ass!

shareThe blu is finally here, but unfortunately the transfer is terrible. Better than DVD, obviously, and the lossless sound is great, but this deserved better.
