he should review "Jack" for his next Robin Williams movie.

I was so pissed off at that movie, advertising it as a comedy and then sucker punching me inside the theatre.

Of course the movie going audience didn't agree with him.

How do you know, that everyone, who paid to see the movie liked it? I've went to see movies, which turned out to be bad.

It's pretty obvious that if people didn't like a film, or it failed to meet their expectations that it would probably be out of the top ten pretty quickly. This happens a lot, not the case for Patch Adams.

Well Avatar is the top grossing movie of all time so I wouldn't go by Movie audiences as to what makes a good Movie.

Also Nostalgia Critic reviews have to be taken with a pinch of salt, I watched 'Good Burger' and 'The Wizard' after he reviewed them and they were actually quite good. His reviews are meant to be funny which means sometimes he takes things out of context or leaves key Movie moments out in order to be funny.

Basically what I mean is people should not get worked up so much about a review he does as its not meant to be 100% serious.

I'll admit, I was initially a bit surprised when I first head about this choice, but after seeing the review I can see what his problems were.

That bit about the reveal that the girlfriend and love story was actually replacing his MALE best friend who sadly got shot I think is what really got me on his side.

I've seen a few biopics which took creative liberties, and still remained good movies. I mean a good example would be A Beautiful Mind, but that probably worked because the romance between its two characters actually happened (though some of the details are changed). The fact that Zulu included a fictional woman who was not at the site of the real battle is a slight flaw with the film but give it some credit for not writing in a pointless romance between her and Chard.

If Clint Eastwood and Chuck Norris got into a fight, Clint Eastwood would probably win.

I liked this movie when it came out except for the graduation scene. I mean come on, it only happens once so try to give that moment a bit of dignity. The NC did point out though the flaws in this movie which i found to be hilarious. This movie is like cotton candy, it tastes great and is fun to eat but in terms of nutrition it is basically worthless.

I saw the movie in its Christmas 1998 showing, too, but at first it is BASED ON A TRUE STORY but CERTAIN SCENES ARE DRAMATIZED......THE FUNNIEST bar none Nostaglia Critic review.

reply

It was a MOVIE, not a documentary.
