walked out during the movie.
It was back in 1998, but still the only movie I have walked out of, about 4/5 of the way through.

shareI don't blame you. The only reason I watched this sappy,vomit-inducing movie is because of Bob Gunton.

Sappy vomit inducing? What on earth were you watching? So a touching movie about a great man trying to make sick people happy and smile is that bad? It makes me think some people just have no hearts at all.
shareCut the sanctimonious crap and get off your high horse.
The real Patch Adams did not like it either. What does that tell you?
Corinna Loves Bob
It tells us that he has a personal buy in to the movie, and for obvious reasons was hoping for something that would accurately reflect him, thus his opinion wasn't on whether it was a good movie, but rather how he is portrayed.
Bang your head against the wall all you like, it won't activate anything inside of it.

vomit-inducing
yeah. it's pretty rough.
shareA shame that people who walk out on movies always have to declare it to the world afterwards. Walk out on the movie then keep your mouth shut about it, try it, it's almost impossible!
sharethis post would have been funny in 1998.

Thread ender.
Good for you. Did you ask for your money back at the ticket window?
shareI won't go into all the reasons why but I was in a situation years ago where I had to watch several scenes of this movie. If I had paid to watch this crap I would have definitely walked out. When Robin Williams' character starts to talk with God in such a derogatory manner I was repulsed. It truly made me sick.
Maybe because you suffer fom biblethumpitis.
Just sayin'. :)
