Am I the only one that just loved Maura Tierney in this film?
Every time she appeared on screen I fell in love with her all over again.
And that scene where she finally meets her dad and starts crying...so beautiful, so powerful (one of the few scenes in this movie that actually worked for me).
I wish her part was a bit longer, but still...
We're all with you. We love her so much we wish we could all have her. It's pretty selfish.
shareYes, she's a superb and criminally overlooked actress. I mainly know her from ER, but recently I've been getting into some of her other works- Oxygen and Instinct). I loved her in both of these. I know she's also in Liar Liar with Jim Carrey, I saw that one ages ago and really need to rewatch it. Anyone have some good further recommendations?
It's a shame she's 42 now, at that age you generally don't become a huge star in Hollywood anymore (which makes no sense, but it's the sad truth).

She was also in Insomnia. Her part was tiny, but I did enjoy the movie.

I'm 17, NewsRadio is kinda before my time. I was 9 when it ended. Insomia sounds good.
