The Same Panelist

Did anybody besides me noticed that they used the same panelists for a couple of episodes. A budget crisis? Or lack of interesting panelists?
What will they think of next

Based on my observations, it seems to me that they tape 2 episodes a day so they would rather use the same panelists for a day. I came up with that cuz in the regular episodes (1998), Summer wore same clothes and same hairstyle for two episodes and different wardrobes for other 2 episodes and so forth.

You're pretty much correct.

This is how most game shows work. They tape a few episodes a day and ask the contestants to bring an extra pair of clothes so they can change if they win. My mom was on Press Your Luck back in the 80's and thats what they did. She was the winner of the show, and about an hour later, after changing, she filmed her second episode. Didn't win, but thats not the point :)

So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they were just using the same people for the few episodes they filmed each day.

Hope this clears some stuff up.

Ugh I would be so exhausted for being there all day! It probably took three or four hours to film one episode, didn't it? Then on to the next one--
That probably explains why there were all those people lined up outside Nickelodeon Studios if Summer and the contestant went outside. And I read that they do 6 Legends of the Hidden Temples a day! Just go to the imdb page and click on trivia

They just sit there asking questions. Not exactly tough work. It took just about 30 minutes to film one show.

Of course they did at least two tapings a day. At Universal Studios, on the days they taped they always listed at least two seperate showtimes, hours apart. I think they taped two shows, then breaked, then taped two more at the second announced time, for a total of four a day. It makes sense, because I'm sure many of the panelists/host don't live in Orlando.
