Just saw the premiere . . .
Where was Summer?
Where was Bill the Answer Head?
Where was the Charade Brigade?
Why are all the panelists annoying?
"Dalton spelled backwards is Notlad." Ugh.

Just saw it as well. I thought it was pretty good, I do miss Summer though. I did find Rachel to be a bit annoying and Victoria at times (bcuz she took so long to ask ?s IMO). I actually thought the Notlad thing was funny just bcuz that's the way Matt acts most of the time.
shareI watched it as well. I am 25 now and pretty much grew up during the 90's. I loved the original show. I actually thought the show was. not bad. From what I remember about the show, they pretty much stayed true to it. What really disappointed me though is that Summer Sanders is not hosting the show and that they took away Billy the Answer Head. That made mad. I also love how they're calling it a "brand new" show. What the Hell is wrong with Nickelodeon? All in all, I thought the show was alright.
shareI'm also 25 yrs old, and I used to watch the show back when it originally aired, and I also felt they kept really true to the original show.
Regarding not having Summer, the Answer Head board, and telling the viewers to 'close their eyes and cover their eyes' to guess along, I expected things to be slightly different. That's how revivals work, mostly.
It's impossible to re-create something that was over 15 years ago, especially towards a new audience and a brand new staff and team producing it. Especially since we have grown older, I know kids of today will really appreciate this new version (they have over 40 episodes ready).
So, I give the new Figure It Out two thumbs up. It really brings me back.
I'm 22 myself and I too thought it wasn't that bad, which considering I'm pretty negative on most things is a good sign I suppose. For Summer not being there I guess it's pretty understandable since it's been like 12-13 years so perhaps she was busy or just didn't want to do it, I don't know but I'm not that beat up over it. For Answer head board that's a bit of a downer cause there's no reason it shouldn't still be there, I mean it's a big cardboard sign pull it out of storage, dust it off and put it up. But again in the end I found it not too bad at all, they kept enough to make it watchable which is all I ask really.
The new host I also didn't mind because he wasn't over excited and put on a see through phony attitude, he seemed to be his real self and not put on, which is a quality I always approve of.
One problem I had is the character "Matt" now granted I know nothing of this kid (his full name, what show he's on, I know ZILCH of him literally) But what I do know from watching this is simply this - Enough of him. We got it your the crazy whacky hipster kid, oh you noticed Dalton was notlad backwards, a word that has not relevance to anything, watch out for that kid he pushes the envelope!
Anyway that's my opinion, perhaps it will be disagreed with and perhaps it will be praised, I guess we'll (takes off sunglasses) Figure It Out
YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

You watched this when you were 2?

spacemonster879-
Oh haha.. I was like they sound so nostalgic and they were like 2 when it started.
Yes! Nick GAS was awesome! Loved the reruns.
Do you like Nick now?
"Live Today Like You'll Die Tomorrow"

Ooh. I don't like Icarly lol. I liked Gibby though, at least when they were younger.
I like the music in Victorious and Big Time Rush. The How To Rock show was ok.. but I didn't like the message they were trying to send in the first episode. Ha the cartoons are eh.. Gah. I just gave up on Spongebob, it's always on.
I still turn on Nick at Nite out of habit. I think the Ragz movie was really cute and I liked the songs.
Yes! I miss the slime and I'm watching the show now and they send down a lot of it.
I watched the whole first season of Figure it out the other day, I didn't like this show that much when I was younger (but I watched it because it was on nick) and it's pretty entertaining.
I love 90's Nick! And yeah the-n also plays their 90's are all that block.
"Live Today Like You'll Die Tomorrow"
I also was pleasantly surprised! I'm obviously a '90s kid so I will miss panellists like the great Lori Beth Denberg but you know what, they did a pretty good job reviving this. I wasn't even that annoyed by the canned laughter, it's weird that they don't tape at Nick studios anymore though so the audience are visiting an actual TV studio in Hollywood and aren't wholesome tourists anymore but that is quite alright, happy the format works well.
Nick needs a cool variety show again like All That though, this show really makes me realise that there are only two good shows on the network in both iCarly & Victorious, I enjoyed the talent of Rachel Crow on the X Factor so I hope the network can make something out of her.
Summer Sanders had offered to do the show on her website and twitter But it she found out when we did when they made an announcement.. and with that announcement, they already hired their new host so there wasn't anything she could do to get the job

anyways, I think they're doing a good Job for a revival
and check the opening theme. Billy's there

I am 26 years old and I watched the original one with Summer, Jay and all the panelists. When I was previewing some shows on my TV from my favorite shows, I saw this and I actually thought it was the original show and it was going to bring back re-runs, but it was a new show and it's not too bad. It's ok, but nothing will beat the original Figure It Out.
shareTeennick needs to start airing the old Figure it Out again.
They advertised all these shows and so far have only been airing All That, Kenan and Kel, Rugrats and Hey Arnold.
