I just saw this movie for the first time and thought it was freaking amazing. showed it to my friend and he also loved it. what are some other movies that are kind of like this? i.e. multiple story lines/teen comedy/teen romance with a purpose?

there's one called Remember the Daze. It's not as good as Can't hardly wait but i still enjoyed it a lot.

Dazed and Confused (1993)
Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)
American Graffiti (1973)
Sixteen Candles (1984)

I can definitely see that this movie was inspired by George Lucas' great "American Graffiti". I'm not sure if that was the first true highscool graduation/one night film but seems like it inspired this film and also Dazed and Confused definitely, maybe also "Fast Times"... even the main nice guy character in Can't Hardly Wait looks like the guy in American Graffiti and there's also the obsession with one certain girl and him wanting to meet her before going to college. Really cool film.
