I watched the trailer a while ago and noticed a scene that I had not seen in the movie where Jason brings in a watermelon...I remember the scene where he is eating the watermelon with a friend but I don't remember a scene where he actually brings one to the party. Was it deleted?

Yes, it was, the producers opted for cutting that scene in order to get a PG-13.
