...the DJ said it ws Mnilow's birthday...Manilow was born June 17. Just saying. Good movie though, fun!

Not really. Don't most states end in mid to late June? Not sure about California, where the movie is set but it wouldn't be too late in a lot of places. If anything it might be a bit early.

Nooooo. I graduated June 2, 1985. Most schools and colleges grad buy 2nd week of June.

It might have been filmed in CA, but I thought the film was set in PA, where the writers/directors grew up.

Not at all. I graduated high school sometime in late June 2008. College on the east coast usually starts up by late August.

Last day of my local high school (this year) is June 19.

We graduated June 10th in '99. Class of 2000 was June 14th

If most people graduate in the first or second week of June, how is the third week of June considered late?

High school Graduation dates for New England and the mid-Atlantic States are almost always in Mid June. Mine was June 18th, 2002. My school year always ended between June 14th-21st. this movie takes place only 20 miles from my home town too. So yeah, i think it makes perfect sense.
