I just saw Jason Segel on this movie today

He had small role playing a stoner (or watermelon guy) as he agreed with another stoner that Velma was the Scooby Doo hottie. Ironically, Segel first co-starred with Linda Cardellini (who played Velma in the live action films) in Dead Man on Campus that same year. They also were in the legendary cult nostalgic dramedy show, "Freaks and Geeks", the next year. After that, they dated for quite awhile until their break up in 2005.

I didn't even notice that Segel was in that movie until today. CHW was one of my favorite teen films during my teenage years mainly because I had a mad crush on Jennifer Love Hewitt during that time.

Its insane going back and watching movies you loved when you were younger and realizing that cool @$$ actors are in it and you didn't even know how cool they were. lol.

his character had an extra scene in the trailer. He enters the room with his watermelon saying how he filled it with Vodka months back, everyone tries to get at, he drops it on the floor, it shatters and he screams.

I can vividly remember that short clip in the trailer cause it was that line that taught me about putting liquor in watermelons!

Yeah, that small scene got cut when they were trying to get the rating to PG-13. YOu can still see random people with pieces of watermelon in some of the background scenes.

Just noticed that now too while watching it on Starz. I like how his stoner friend goes "Hey Amanda (looks down), oh god you're a hottie! Can I see you naked?" Also noticed just how big of butt Jennifer Love Hewitt has in this movie. Just must have looked great in a thong back at this age.
