of ALL the young actors in this film, who's doing the best right now?

I'd say Seth Green. Followed closely by Jason Segel. Seth produces and probably has more pull around Hollywood.

then Jennifer Love Hewitt and maybe Jamie Presley

reply

I think it's definitely Jason Segal. Compared to all of the actors in this flick he has blown up big time.
Probably Jamie Pressley #2 and I hate to say it but Peter Facinelli due to all of that twilight bologna...

reply

He was pretty good in Nurse Jackie as well, although not a movie.

reply

Yeah Segal 1 and Pressly 2. Seth Green is not really a movie star anymore just a voice over guy (doing bloody well though).

Stack em to the top.

reply

The OP didn't ask who was the biggest movie star, he asked who is doing the best right now. Seth is the creator/head writer of "Robot Chicken" over on Cartoon Network, and he's voicing a character on a primetime show that's on almost all the time due to syndication. He's probably making the fattest checks.

reply

he owns "robot chicken" i also think he might be #1

reply

Seth Green got that austin powers $$ def. seth cuz he still hasa steady pay coming in from all his other projects

reply

Seth Green has had the most succesful career out of the group. It's a shame Ethan Embry's career never really took off to where it could've gone. He has been in some films where he has had a very small role.

reply

Jennifer Love Hewitt, she was in a long-running network series (Ghost Whisperer). Even though it just got cancelled, she's making money from the syndication deals. Looking forward, in five years I think the answer will be Jason Segel, he's a rising star. I love You, Man is one of my favorite comedies.

reply

I totally forgot Jason Segel is in this lol but if we want to refer to the main 6 it would be Seth and Peter. Jennifer has stayed in the limelight but her movie career has been dead because her best role was probably in heartbreakers. She played a bitch really well in that movie and that came out a long time ago.

reply

The question doesn't say anything about movies. Jennnifer was the star of a five or six season TV show on Fridays, typically a night where a lot people don't watch TV. I'm still sticking with Jennifer Love Hewitt as my answer.

reply

It has to be either Jason Segal or Seth Green. Segal's been in I love you man, Forgetting Sarah Marshall: two huge comedies.

Then again Green was on family guy and is a co-producer and writer of Robot chicken. Tough call but it is definitely between those two.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Donald Faison. He was Turk on Scrubs until recently.

reply

I am shocked no one mentioned.. Segal as a WRITER as well.. yes.. he WAS in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" (he also WROTE it). He has a sitcom. He has a part (not sure how BIG) in the new Muppet film, which he wrote, or co-wrote (not sure) with Sarah Marshall director Nick Stoller.

But.. its not fair to really say.. I mean Segal's part in "Dead Man On Campus" was MUCH bigger. But.. oddly no one mentioned Jerry O'Connell who isn't doing too bad himself. A new show on CBS right now. as well as popping up in the new Pirannah 3D (I am guessing he won't be in the sequel LOL).

But.. I will say.. Seth Green is probably the right answer.. Not ONLY does have have production of Robot Chicken (he also writes and directs.. occasionally Breckin Meyer and Donald Faison actually on the show as well). He shows up in one shot roles.. does a voice on Family Guy.. and is also prepping a new "Star Wars" series.. not quite sure what its about..and he often pops up as himself on "Entourage".

I will also say.. neglected to mention while Twilight is HUGE.. but Peter Facinelli is one of the BEST things on Showtimes's "Nurse Jackie" as Dr. "Coop" Cooper..

I would have to say Jason Segel trumps Seth Green at the moment. Not only does he get a fat check from HIMYM (big enough that it probably matches what Green makes for everything he does on Robot Chicken), he's executive producer, writer and star of the Muppet movie. Add Bad Teacher to that, plus the upcoming Jeff Who Lives At Home, he's one of Hollywood's go to stars.

Also, last year Segel was in Despicable Me, one of the year's top animated films. This year, Seth Green was in Mars Needs Moms, one of the largest animated bombs of all time... probably second only to Final Fantasy: Spirits Within.

Segel by a long mile. If this were ten years ago, Seth Green would be the frontrunner. Hell, when this movie came out he was just building steam, considering he was in Buffy and Austin Powers, but in the last few years he's done nothing but voice acting.

reply

Seth Green definitely. He has all the movie roles, plus Buffy and other tv shows. Then doing voice work on Family Guy and voicing video games. Producing and writing Robot Chicken. Then the comic books that he created. And he has action figures based on his characters.

reply

It has to be Charlie Korsmo(or did you mean the ones still in the industry?). The guy basically gave Elijah Wood a career, then comes back for this movie, graduates from MIT, and ended up working in the pentagon. I don't know if he is still in politics but last I heard he was heading some domestic policy committee. I know he isn't in Hollywood anymore, but he is still doing better than all the other actors from the movie. Regardless, He would still be doing the best even if he stayed in Hollywood, the guy turned down soooo many offers after coming back for Can't Hardly Wait. He's another Debra Winger basically, don't know her?, Meg Ryan has a career because of her.

reply

HardcoreHeal beat me to it. I was going to say Charlie Korsmo - what an interesting post-acting path he's been on so far.

reply

O_O Did not know this. Awesome!

reply

I know you posted this a few years back, but now it would DEFINITELY be Jason Segal.

I would have to say Seth Green is def #1 with all the stuff he has going on and has done. Not to mention merchandise for the stuff hes done. He's done acting, writing, producing, etc. Including video games. Buffy and Family guy are still always on tv and Robot Chicken is doing well.

reply

It's 2013... and it's definitely Jason Segel followed by Seth Green!

reply

seth green has a net worth of 15 million, jennifer love hewitt has net worth of 18 million and jason segel net worth of 30 million with 225 thousand per episode of himym so jason segel is doing best

reply

I'd have to go with Jason Segel, doing prominent movies with Judd Apatow and/or Paul Rudd.
