I have not seen this film, and am interested in seeing it only for the sake of seeing Jonathan Brandis. However, none of the clips of this film on youtube appear to have him in them. Was he in this film for only a short time?
he's the guy from this film that, unfortunately, commited suicide, correct? so unfortunate...he seemed to have a real talent, but at the same token, and especially in this film, you can see a great sadness to him, like a part of his soul was missing...not trying to be pretentious here, simply making an observation.
He looks sad in this movie? As late as '99? That's horrible! You should see him in Bad Girls from Valley High. He doesn't look very happy in that either. Though for a little more of him I'd recommend Puerto Vallarta Squeeze. I think it was his last film and he has much more to do in there. He makes a great CIA hit man. Though it is painful to watch sometimes, he looks so tired. I just wanted to reach through the screen and give him a hug and tell him it's going to be okay. Some scenes are really surreal. I'd say give it a chance to anyone who wants to see what JB looked like toward the end. It's great performance but it's a damn shame the studio shelved it for three years!!!!
