This was on late on UK TV last night but fell asleep before the end, can anyone fill in the blanks?

I'd seen up to the point he got back from spring break and was having a heart to heart with his dad, outside the bar.

Turns out the whole thing was a dream by some autistic kid with a snow globe. And he was a ghost the whole time.
