The movie leaves you with the possibility that Andy Kaufman may still be alive. One of the best endings to a movie, in my opinion.

yeah, but Andy died in real so i dont get what would be the purpose of this scene. first i thought its Bob, but when they show him this all ending got senseless to me..
shareWell, I only saw the last 15 min. of the movie on TV and I know very, very little about Andy Kaufman...
But even so, I saw the ending more metaphorical - not so much literal.......because I agree, if you take it literally, it's a tad nonsensical.
The "metaphor" being about Kaufman's ultimate unpredictability and his spirit and influence continuing to live.
Faking his death is something that wouldn't surprise me coming from Kaufman.
