Goofs?


In the end where the dad asks if she is russian and he answeres no, ukranian... Ukraine was seperated from USSR in 1991 so ukraine and russia wouldn't have been countries, just "counties" or parts of USSR so it would be same same "just as bad (from the dads pow) to be ukranian as being russian"....

Note: just speaking history, nothing against either countries (or any other country for that matter)....

All of the SSR's were still republics, not counties or states. And Ukrainian and Russian are different ethnicities. I have a friend from Ukraine and he would be very unhappy if you called him a Russian. Just because a country is under the rule of another doesn't mean they are the same.

The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.
