Lions gate wants to make a trilogy from this. It's getting a remake and will be out sometime next year. Guaranteed to be so similar to that of SAW since lions gate owns that series as well:)

Now with a big studio behind it and a better ad budget then who knows. There are many a classic out there that failed to find its audience at the time.
Shawshank Redemption and Bladerunner are perfect examples of this.

if a large studio remakes it, then it will mess with what made the film great.
it will result in a mixture of cube zero and cube. It won't have an open ending and it will try to explain what should not be attempted to explain. by doing so it will be a meaningless film and go down the drain.
not saying it will be good, but if maze runner can bag a franchise than so can this.
