I like this show quite a bit, but if anyone every says anything slightly offensive the judge always freaks out and turns into a ranting PC libtard. The best is when the defendant is just making some crap up to make the plaintiff look bad, and rather than using any common sense, this judge just bitches out and starts lecturing everyone endlessly on her opinions. You'd think she'd have a thicker skin than this!

shareI think it's due to the fact that you're in "court"....at least an arbitration hearing, that is. And she is the "judge" / arbitrator. Hence, there's a certain decorum that is expected. You'll find that in any court of law....even traffic court!
shareIt has nothing to do with how people behave in the "court", it comes up more as a defense. If the defendant ever accuses someone as being racist she jumps down their throat and is immediately biased against the person being accused. Seems like a pretty bad defect for a supposed judge to have, and it's pretty easy to manipulate someone that can't keep their emotions separate from their job.
