I understand that she wanted to be independent from her parents but I thought the way she acted about the apartment and her engagement to Daniel when her mother tried to voice her concerns was bratty.

I agree 100%. What was her mental age? Would you give a 15 year old an apartment? Of course not.

I thought she was college age, like 19. Didn't she meet Danny at the college?
