I felt it was a great drama.

It showed real life tension between occupiers and occupied.

The island was declared open by the British Government.

The two sister islands were as well.

It was a great series to show the conditions of the day.

Yes, I posted the same sentiment when I saw this. It was really well done - as most serious British programming is done.

One thing I thought was interesting was the German soldier was punished for sexual assault.

One of the best series about the war I've seen.
