The test of time.. Your opinion?

I recently watched an episode of the American production "Holocaust". A tv show that was a huge hit in it's time but atleast to me, some of the acting was a quite over the top, the dialogue too underlined and some of the characters quite one dimensional. Unfortunately this is now and then the case with period drama and even more so (for whatever reason) when it comes to productions concerning the Second World War.

What is your opinion, has "Enemy at the Door" stood the test of time or not?

I am watching it now ... I am continually amazed at the quality of British dramatic productions. The series gets a 5/5 from me. I don't know how closely it actually follows events, but it is subtle and not over the top and does not pander or insult the viewers intelligence ... and I just realized I am talking to someone from 5 years ago! ;-) Great series.
