Good action, chase scene filming, but ...

... the story has too many holes. After watching it for a 3rd or 4th time last night, I declared that I have seen it enough. Too many eye-rolls, things that don't make sense, and blatant continuity errors. The very title of the film is a "huh?".

It had a terrific cast. But this is a good candidate for a re-make.

I saw this once when it first came out. Think I saw it in the theaters. All I remember is it being a decent film but had a car chase scene that wouldn't end. Like 15 minutes or something rediculous that kinda ruined the movie for me.

Am I correct in this long card chase scene?

Is it worth another chance/viewing?

The chase scene is long, but not overly so, IMHO. It's pacing is fast enough that you don't really notice the length of it. It also fits into the plot at that point in the movie, so it's not just something gratuitously thrown in for the sake of having an action sequence.

I'd recommend you give the film another go. It is a little slow in a couple of spots, but there's plenty of action to make up for it, and an interesting plot with decent characters.

Just be careful you don't get ambushed by a cup of coffee.
