Region 1 DVD commentary

I own the bare bones Region 2 DVD of the Acid House but am keen to purchase the Region 1 DVD as well as it contains a series of special features such as an Irvine Welsh commentary, Welsh interview, biographies and Acid House glossary. Can anyone confirm that all Region 1 versions of this DVD contain the commentary? I have seen a few that don’t advertise the commentary. I have also heard that there are optional subtitle on some prints with non-optional subtitle on others. There appear to have been a couple of prints of the DVD by Zeitgeist, one around 1999, the other in 2002 and so I just wondered what are the exact differences? I don't want to spend a load of money imprting the Region 1 disc to find that there is no commentary on itso any help would be greatly appreciated.

Zeitgeist DVD number Z1004, dated 2001, Region 1.

It has the Irvine Welsh commentary, but he doesn't say very much. This version has the non-optional subtitles for parts of the movie. Also the "Acid House" glossary, trailer, and interview with Irvine Welsh. No optional subtitles in othe languages or for the hard-of-hearing, or soundtracks in other languages.
