Why does she do that?
When Bob's about to leave the restaurant from his date, he says, "Goodbye Martha," and she points to her noise and says, "Yeah, that." Then Bob apologizes. Why does she do that? Have I completely missed the reference?

shareHe got his date's name wrong when he said goodbye to her and his date had to correct him. So when he says goodnight to his friend's date and gets her name right, she points to her nose as to say "on the nose" meaning good job, you got my name right.
shareperhaps, just perhaps, he didn't remember her name because he didn't like her but he could accept the second one.
