Was the Irish/Italian restaurant a "real" restaurant site in the Chgo area - if so, what is the name and address of the restaurant? We love this movie - and probably watch it once every 6 wks -- it is one of those movies that always makes you laugh and/or feel good. Just love all the characters - they are just so real! We are from Chgo (althogh live in CA now) -- and so many of the landmarks in the movie make us homesick!! Only thing we can see in the movie is the street name Sedgwick - but don't know if that is the real location and/or what the cross street would be if the restaurant really exists or was it a movie set ??? Please reply. Thanks.

Yep, real restaurant in Chicago. I found this by clicking on the Filming Locations button for the movie "Return to Me" (over on the left side) and it reports that part of the movie was filmed on location in Chicago at "Twin Anchors Restaurant"

I did a Google search on Twin Anchors Restaurant, and I get this http://www.twinanchorsribs.com/

Twin Anchors Restaurant® is conveniently located in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood at 1655 North Sedgwick Street. On the Corner of Sedgwick and Eugenie.

I just watched this movie tonight for the 1st time. Interesting plot. Made me laugh out loud a few times. Good ending.

Thank you for your quick response - we'll have to visit on our next trip to chgo. Glad you enjoyed it -- sure you'll "return" to watching it when you just want a "feel good" warm movie!!

I live on the same street as the restaurant this movie was filmed at ! It was also in the dark night! Really cool that it's been apart of diff movies over time .inside there are memoribilla and photos from different actors and movies the restaurant has been involved with!
