It's been 15 years since this movie was made, it's hard to believe this is the only feature film Bonnie Hunt has directed. I'm sure it takes a lot of work to direct a movie and maybe it's not something she's passionate about but she did such a good job it's a shame she hasn't done anything else.

ITA with you. I think RTM was a very underrated film. It didn't do big box office but it did make a profit for MGM. I think it really did well on rental and DVD's. David was on Bonnie's TV show and was nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series
