Lethal Weapon 4 - Jet Li vs Riggs and Murtaugh (audio of crowd reaction)

This is awesome. Someone had a recording of the opening weekend crowd at Lethal Weapon 4 back in '98 and dubbed it over the fight scene at Murtaugh's house. It sounds like a fun crowd to watch a movie with.

Thank you! This is much appreciated. Amazing how this youtube video only comes out this year.

Was that the first time those people had ever seen a film?

we'll see things they'll never see, you and I are gonna live forever.

@Cojo-Gobar, it's the first time the American people have seen Jet Li on the big screen including me... It was simply breathtaking the way Jet Li energizes the crowd in cinemas across the country...

That crowd would have made me leave the theater.

I saw this in theaters in Los Angeles back in 1998 and that really did happen. A lot did not know who Jet Li was back then. I distinctly remember people clapping and cheering after that fight sequence.

Awesome video! Thanks for share it!

Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.

that was way cool. it actually brought another dimention to watching it like yeah that fight was pretty cool - Riggs laser sight (like Terminator), the initial fight with Riggs/Murtagh, the way Jet just watches smilng , then as Riggs goes for the gun he springs into action and just wipes the floor with Riggs in seconds and we see Murtaghs disbelieving reaction (he like the audience has never seen Riggs wiped out like that before - usually its Riggs who does that), then the awesome wirefu kick (pre Matrix), then the mexican standoff (gotta be a nod to Tarantino), before the unreal move where Li rips Riggs Beretta apart! (Riggs' iconic 'Lethal Weapon')
