So, Roger comes home to the bad guys holding his family hostage. Martin rescues him and family. They send the family out of the house. Bad guys get upper hand and ties everyone up, including those that were sent out of the house.

Did they just stand around on the porch, waiting to be recaptured?

What I'd like to know is how Ping the little kid managed to get through the fire in the house and come out of nowhere to rescue to crew tied up burning up in the fire.

The only exit seemed to have been the window.
