One of my biggest complaints about this movie.

So the council and the senate knew they were living together. But it was against the rules of the Jedi to marry and heavens forbid they have a child. But its ok to live together and sleep with each other.

I know this has probably been done to death. But this is one of my biggest grips with this movie.

Where did you get that the senate and Jedi council knew they were living together?

reply

So your saying no one from the senate or Jedi council ever went to their place.

Of course, first off Anakin is very busy and off world a lot and would not be at her place during the day so unless you seriously think Jedi are visit senators at night for dessert or something how can you reasonably ever come to this conclusion

Even the biggest haters have never come up with this

I don't know man. Seen it to much.

Blame the films editing

anakin was off world all the damn time

I expect the Jedi were like the certain orders of holy men who are officially celibate; they all insist that if you marry you leave the order, but some of them turn a blind eye to girlfriends, boyfriends, or long-term relationships that aren't marriage.

Heck, some organizations have deliberately ignored multiple mistresses and illegitimate children.

“Seventy-seven courses and a regicide, never a wedding like it!

Nothing makes sense in the prequels.
