Anakin killing Windu scene, was so poorly done/written

Still bothers me every time I see it. For such a huge moment of the Star Wars saga, can't believe that dramatic scene was so poorly scripted. Windu was told by Anakin about the deceit. Yet Windu feels he has to yell that he not part of the conspiracy. When they are fighting? That don't even make sense. Windu has no reason to explain himself to Anakin. It's actually Anakin that is not trusted by most of them. Witch is why Windu wouldn't tell him what he is about to do. Tells him he can't be trusted and must kill?? No way! Would not give Anakin even a chance to turn on him. And yes he obviously thought Anakin was wavering by everything said up till then.
